Week 24: Commencement – Law of Least Effort

I can’t believe 26 weeks of our journey ended last Sunday. It took a while for me to wrap up this final blog with MKMMA course. Of course this is not the end but “New Beginning”! I can’t believe how fast it went by but also how much we went through and what a valuable time we spent last 6 months. Mark J used this expression many times during our course “effortless”. Over last few weeks, I have been trying to focus on this aspect and I come to really appreciate the beauty of  “Effortlessness”.

We were given this “Law of Least Effort” for daily reading during the week 23.

Law of Least Effort:

  1. Acceptance: I will practice Acceptance. Today I will accept the people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are in this moment, not as I wish they were.
  2. Responsibility: Having accepted things as they are, I will take responsibility for my situations and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself). I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.
  3. Defenselessness: Today my awareness will remain established in Defenselessness. I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I will remain open to all points of view and not be rigidly attached to any one of them.

Applying the Law of Least Effort means living each day with:

  1. Acceptacne
  2. Responsibility
  3. Defenselessness

What a powerful principle to live by! I have been meditating on these principles over last few weeks and trying to live by them. Throughout the day, there are moments that I have to stop and recite these principles so I can train my new self to live “clam, peaceful, confident and loving” as this is my affirmation to live by.

On my week 20 blog titled “In Step”   I have referred to the Bible verse Matthew 11:28-30.

Matthew 11: 28-30, 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.(bold and italic added)”

I have been working through this passages of Bible more than 3 years to learn and apply in my life.  Now I can truly say that I understand much better and I am applying this principle in my life more and more. I am at a place finally that I understand “For my yoke is easy, my burden is light” means and experiencing in my life. When I live my life “In Step” with my God then I am at ease because I just have to simply follow His leading and He is directing my steps and paths. So it is easy and light and it is also “Effortless”.

As we are embarking our “New Beginning” after 26 weeks of Master Key Experience Master Mind Alliance (MKEMMA), I take these principles with me to my day to day walk to reflect and apply this effortless life. What an amazing journey it has been and what an exciting moment it is for those of us made to the end. Congratulations to all my fellow MKMMA graduates as we move forward with our Hero’s Journey!

Thank you, Mark, Davene, Dayna, Gigi, and Derrek for your great leadership and support during our 6 months of journey. Thanks to my amazing guides, Lori Enrico and Lucinda Marshall and my awesome tribe (Magic Tribe)! My life is ever changed because all of you, THANK YOU!
